Dirty Rowdy Thing de Christina Lauren

DESCRIPCIÓN Y/O SINOPSIS DE ESTE EBOOK

From the New York Times bestselling author of Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player, Book Two of the brand-new Wild Seasons series that started with Sweet Filthy Boy—a story of friends, love, and lust.

Despite their rowdy hookups, Harlow and Finn don’t even like each other…which would explain why their marriage lasted only twelve hours. He needs to be in charge and takes whatever he wants. She lives by the Want-something-done? Do-it-yourself mantra. Maybe she’s too similar to the rugged fisherman—or just what he needs.

OPINIONES:

Another unputdownable, delicious, outside-the-box romance
Harlow Vega and Finn Roberts were married for twelve steamy hot hours in the Vegas weekend that started it all in Sweet Filthy Boy. Now post-annulment, Dirty Rowdy Thing thrusts the two back together as they try their hands at being friends after Finn resurfaces in Harlow’s hometown to visit their mutual friends. Both dealing with their own set of personal problems, they turn to each other for an easy distraction that could potentially end up a much bigger distraction than they are prepared to deal with.
Harlow is the perfect female protagonist, smart and funny, beautiful and no nonsense. She’s fun and strong and completely likeable. Finn is just delicious. A smoking hot Canadian fisherman, he’s exactly the type of guy that Harlow is least likely to ever end up with. He’s a blue collar career fisherman, she’s the privileged daughter of Hollywood royalty. He’s struggling to keep his family business afloat, she’s just been hit with a blow to her family’s foundation that she has no idea how to handle. Both doers, Harlow and Finn are both known for attacking problems head on, stepping in when crap hits the fan and fixing it by any means necessary. But presently, they find themselves in uncharted waters, facing grim circumstances they have no idea how to repair. The only thing that brings them any reprieve is the compatibility they find in the bedroom (and in the car… and against the wall…)
Wrought with sexual tension and angst, the pseudo-friendship between Finn and Harlow is simply decadent. Far more than just a wicked attraction, the dialogue and the chemistry and the humor that exists between the two is addictive. The writing pair of Christina Lauren delivers another outside-the-box dynamic, another storyline rife with humor and friendship, sex and romance. Dirty Rowdy Thing is smart, the dialogue perfect, the sex scorching, the characters magnetic. No surprise at all, this second installment in the Wild Seasons series is another unputdownable page turner.

The moment I opened this book, I was reminded of how much I love this duo’s writing and how much I was looking forward to Harlow
The moment I opened this book, I was reminded of how much I love this duo’s writing and how much I was looking forward to Harlow and Finn.
Wow, Finn is just WOW; his story and his character are so much more than I expected. I love that he was dirty and rowdy in bed but without being a manwhore. There was no sordid past, no long line of women – just Finn knowing what he wants in bed and how to please Harlow! Now outside of bed, Finn is guarded and closed off. I truly enjoyed watching him open up to Harlow (even when he wasn’t sure if it was for the right reasons).
Both Harlow and Finn have a lot going in their personal lives in this book. The blurb keeps most of this a secret so I will as well. I will say I loved what Finn did, how he struggled and the solution to that truly played well into a future for him and Harlow and I love how it tied into Harlow’s upbringing and career (I know very vague – just trust me, it all ties together so well)
Harlow’s family was well crafted; I love her relationship with her dad and the story line around her mother was powerful and truly added to the story.
Finn’s nickname for Harlow was adorable. He turns Ginger Snap into just Snap and it made me smile each time.
It was wonderful to see Mia and Ansel, to see them happy and together! Because yes I loved book 1 as well.
I think it is also worth adding that I love how this group came together; the backstory for Finn, Ansel, Oliver and uggh Perry meeting assembled a diverse cast. And the adorable Vegas meeting from book one with friends Mia, Lola and Harlow have truly made for a wonderful dynamic for a series.
I am very much looking forward to Olivia and Lola’s story in Dark Wild Night (Wild Seasons #3), though I do wish it was releasing sooner!
Oh and speaking of stories I would love, LOVE Levi and Colton Roberts; Finn’s brothers to each get their happy as well. Thank you 🙂

They’ve done it again!
I read this book, through the night, as soon as it was released. LOVED is an understatement. I’m only sad I finished it so quickly; wished I would’ve savored it a bit more. Oh well, I guess I’ll have to read it again. 😉
I really loved Finn and Harlow’s story and, of course, loved getting a little bit more of Ansel and Mia’s story.
Can’t recommend this enough!
