Another Great Read
If like me you eagerly await the next book from Simon Scarrow so you can follow the adventures of Cato and Macro, this latest offering will not disappoint you. Lots of action and enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. Another great read Simon; can’t wait for the next one!!

Lved it
I never get tired of Simon Scarrows Macro and Cato novels and this one is just as good as the others.
If you like roman legions a battle between Romans and Barbarians this is one for you.

Bit disappointed in this one
Bit disappointed in this one. Lacked the intrigue and humour of previous books. Not bad is all.
